Calculate the clinical and economic burden of decisional uncertainty in the treatment of convulsive status epilepticus

How do differences in effectiveness between different treatment choices affect hospital admissions, intensive care unit admissions, and costs?

Evaluate how optimizing treatment by substituting a low-effectiveness treatment choice with a high-effectiveness treatment choice may reduce hospital admissions, intensive care unit admissions and costs.

Here are the links to evaluate:

1.The impact that choosing a particular non-intravenous benzodiazepine has on hospital admissions (with default values for pediatric or adult patients, respectively)

Instructions

When you open any of these apps, the initial screen will look similar to the one below

The apps perform heavy calculations and may take some minutes to display results. If you want to see the comparison of low-effectiveness versus high-effectiveness choices using the default values for the app, wait until the results are displayed. The results will look like the ones below with a table summarizing the values and a cost-effectiveness plot displaying them graphically.

Modify the input values to better reflect the most updated values and the situation of most interest to you (pediatric versus adult, different medication choices, or new types of medication choices, etc).

You do not have to wait for the new results to be calculated with each change in each input. Make all changes in the inputs. Once you are done making all changes, click on a different slot (to make sure the changes in the last slot you changed are recognized), and wait for the results to appear.

After calculations are done, you will find the updated results, calculated based on your updated inputs.

You can also use the apps in your local computer in RStudio.
